Bozeman, MT – The Western Design Conference (WDC) announces that its celebrated Exhibit + Sale will now take place annually in Bozeman, Montana, beginning August 6-9, 2026. For over 30 years the Western Design Exhibit + Sale has been synonymous with high-caliber craftsmanship and a range of design trends offering attendees a rare opportunity to experience and acquire unique, handcrafted pieces. With the Jackson Hole venue no longer available, the WDC embarked on a quest to find a new home that would honor the scale and spirit of this legacy event. The WDC is proud to introduce the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the Montana State University campus, just two miles from downtown Bozeman, as the new venue.
Bozeman, known for its stunning mountain landscapes and small-town charm, offers the best of both worlds: a rich arts culture and the accessibility of a larger city. With a population of over 50,000, Bozeman is easily reachable via the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, making it an ideal destination for both local and regional buyers as well as visitors from across the country. The city and The Brick are renowned for their diverse range of hotels, ample venue parking, and a thriving creative community, providing perfect conditions for four exciting days dedicated to Western home and lifestyle design, furniture, fashion, jewelry, and more.
Currently the WDC is connecting and collaborating with national, regional and local partners, galleries, publications and sponsors to enhance the experience for both attendees and exhibitors alike. The Western Design Conference remains committed to delivering the same vibrant celebration that our followers and fans have come to love in Jackson Hole—a must-attend shopping event that inspires and cultivates the Western and Mountain lifestyles, from contemporary or cowboy.
Attendees can look forward to the opening night couture designer fashion show, a fan-favorite during the WDC Preview Party, an interior designer showhouse, over 100 exhibiting American artists from 28 states, showcasing the richness and diversity of Western design. Additionally, live podcasts, lectures from industry leaders and the unveiling of award winners of the annual design competition are must see events to watch for. The WDC proudly takes no commission, directly uniting talented artists and designers with the public and trade.
The public, new and prior WDC artists, designers, and exhibitors are invited to save the date and stay tuned for updates. Follow the WDC on Instagram for the latest news and exhibitor sneak peeks leading up to the event. Early exhibitor applications are now open.
“The WDC team is dedicated to delivering an elevated experience that celebrates the finest in Western-inspired design and craftsmanship at a variety of price points,” says Allison Merritt, Executive Director of the Western Design Conference. “Join us in Bozeman for an unforgettable celebration of the best in Western design—see you there!”
