Western Design Conference’s New and Improved Website Launches

September Jackson Hole event celebrating Western style and craft expands reach

Jackson Hole, Wyo. – March 26, 2015 – The Western Design Conference (WDC), the only event of its kind, celebrating the best of Western designers and trends, just got better. The popular conference takes place in Jackson, Wyo., Sept. 10 – 13, 2015, and in preparation for the 23rd annual festivities, the event’s website was recently redesigned, making the online experience for fans and artists easier and more enjoyable. The recently re-launched website illuminates the creations of Western Design Conference artists by featuring large images of their work, biographies of the participating artisans – selected by a jury of experts each year – and a variety of social and direct media links to keep the public connected throughout the year.

With the new website, the public can stay current on the latest design trends in Western furniture, fashion and lifestyle accessories, as well as purchase advance tickets to the four-day Exhibit + Sale and Opening Preview Party. Artists who hope to participate in the juried show can connect with the Western Design Conference via the new website’s easy – and environmentally friendly – online application process; the deadline for artist entries is April 1. The conference is set to open at the Snow King Sports & Events Center in Jackson on Sept. 10 with its gala party – including the exciting annual runway fashion show of cowboy couture – then continues Sept. 11 –13, with the annual Exhibit + Sale, a three-day event showcasing museum-quality functional art by more than 130 Western-inspired artists. The 23rd annual Western Design Conference Exhibit + Sale is a four-day, multimillion-dollar event that brings together craftspeople, collectors, interior designers, architects and fashion designers with an interest in the West, sponsored by Mountain Living magazine. The Western Design Conference was founded 23 years ago in Cody, Wyo., as a way to promote contemporary artists working in historical American craft methods.
