Jackson Hole, Wyoming — June TK, 2018 — From turquoise tile to intricate antler sculptures to antique rugs, the 2018 Western Design Exhibit + Sale Designer Show House in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, will feature a range of furnishings, accessories, and handcrafted goods from eight design companies throughout the West and across the nation. Designers will collaborate on the style and ambiance of five rooms included in the life-size model home on the show floor for the 26th annual Western Design Exhibit + Sale, a signature event of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. Guests are invited to peruse the home at their leisure throughout the four-day event at the Snow King Events Center, beginning with the Opening Preview Party + Fashion Show on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, and concluding on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The 2018 event represents the third consecutive year that B&B Builders of Rigby, Idaho, will construct the façade of the Exhibit + Sale’s Designer Show House. The commercial and residential general contracting firm has been designing and building custom homes in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Utah since 1993. Using indigenous materials such as naturally weathered barn wood, B&B will design and build the front porch which will feature comfortable seating by Indiana’s Old Hickory Furniture, a century-old company known for its rustic heirloom quality chairs and other pieces that grace historic properties from Camp David to Yellowstone. A selection of antique and contemporary designs from Azadi Fine Rugs—a luxury rug company that has grown to six galleries based in Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii and Wyoming since it was established in 1790—will add warmth to the exterior seating area and interior hallway.

The 2018 Designer Show House will be divided into five rooms, each planned and executed by a different design company. Harker Design will add character and warmth to the Great Room by incorporating a selection of furnishings outfitted in rich textures and neutral hues. Based in Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah, the residential and commercial interior design firm offers flexibility in style and a sponsor-based approach.

Focal pieces will be a 6-by-12-foot original photograph and a striking found-object coffee table, both accompanied by a muted color palette and Western accents.
