Raised in a family of craftspeople, Jim Muskovich started working with wood, rock, concrete, and steel at an early age. Throughout his adolescence knowledge of how raw materials behaved was gained. Classic woodworking skills and techniques as well as use of the tools necessary to complete the piece were passed down from all of the craftspeople in Jim’s life. Jim has spent hours developing and perfecting specific techniques used in the artwork he creates today. Jim has been called a “wood nerd”, a title he is proud to hold.
Jim started One Hole, in the month of January, 2018 to follow his life long passion to create. The pieces are designed to perform, built to last, and most importantly…elicit an emotional response.
I endeavor to provide tactile and visual sensations with my pieces.
