J.L. Blair Saddlery
A native of Wyoming, with over 35 years experience, John L Blair is a second generation saddle maker. Having studies the art of saddle making under his father, Neal L Blair and Tony J Holmes of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Each saddle is a creation built with special attention to details, quality and durability, using traditional methods and materials.
Having created his own style of leather carving and accomplishing more than just saddles, doing a full array of leather worked from leather floors to boots. Having shown in Dallas, Reno, Wyoming State museum, Wyoming Pioneer Museum, American Heritage Center, Jackson Hole, and special invitation to show in Osaka, Japan. John was awarded the Best Artist Historical Craftmanship Award at the Western Design Conference.
