The team of ranch manager, architect, and furniture designer tell the story of designing, building, and furnishing a traditional style lodge in a remote location off the grid, using materials and talent sourced on the property or nearby. It is a tale of values, ingenuity, and passionate high standards, set amidst the beauties of a historic New Mexico ranch, Vermejo Park, owned today by Ted Turner. It was Turner's commitment to sustainability that drove the creation of this LEED certified project which will serve the future while honoring the past. The presentation tells of harvesting and processing the wood for both building and furniture construction, as well as showing the project context and some of the artisans involved.
